Wealthtech startup Zomint has raised ₹36 Cr in a seed funding round from Lightspeed and Prime Venture Partners
Zomint targets investors beyond the HNI segment by offering dedicated wealth experts to customers starting with a ₹25,000 monthly SIP or a ₹5 Lakh lump sum
The startup will use the capital to strengthen its technology and investment capabilities, expand its wealth and investment teams, and grow its content-led distribution across new formats and regional languages
Wealthtech startup Zomint has raised ₹36 Cr (about $3.7 Mn) in a seed funding round from Lightspeed and Prime Venture Partners.
The startup plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology and investment capabilities, expand its team of wealth and investment experts, and grow its content-led distribution across new formats and regional languages.
Founded in 2025 by Aman Mittal and Shavir Bansal, Zomint is a wealth management platform targeting working professionals and families building long-term wealth. It pairs customers with dedicated wealth experts, supported by investment research and AI tools.
Mittal, the startup’s CEO, previously held product leadership roles at Flipkart and Pine Labs. Bansal, its COO, also founded personal finance content platform Bekifaayati, which claims to have more than 50 Lakh subscribers.
Zomint allows customers to start with a monthly SIP of ₹25,000 or a lump sum investment of ₹5 Lakh, positioning its services beyond the high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) traditionally served by wealth managers.
The platform provides a dashboard to track investments, while its experts review portfolios and recommend actions based on customers’ goals and fund performance. Its technology brings together portfolio information, financial goals, past conversations, and investment research to flag issues and track agreed actions.
According to its website, Zomint operates as an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor. Its listed offerings span equity, debt, hybrid, gold and silver, and global funds, including GIFT City funds. The startup said it plans to broaden its services beyond domestic mutual funds to address other investment and financial needs.
Zomint claims to have acquired its entire customer base organically, led by Bekifaayati’s presence on YouTube and Instagram, without spending on paid customer acquisition.
The startup said it has retained 97% of its clients since launch, while nearly one in three clients made additional investments through the platform within three months of their initial engagement. Each relationship manager currently serves more than 250 families, supported by investment specialists and AI tools, it added.
The fundraise comes amid investor interest in startups offering wealth management, investment research, and portfolio tools. The broader segment includes platforms such as Centricity, Novelty Wealth, Tijori, and StockGro, although their offerings and target customers differ.
Inc42 reported yesterday that IPO-bound StockGro has raised ₹110 Cr as part of its ongoing Series B round. This follows earlier tranches comprising ₹150 Cr from Param Capital founder Mukul Agarwal and $13 Mn from existing investor BITKRAFT Ventures.
