
MapmyIndia’s consolidated net profit for the June quarter of FY27 grew 6.3% to ₹50.4 Cr from ₹47.4 Cr in the same quarter last year.
Operating revenue jumped almost 15% to ₹139.7 Cr during the quarter under review from ₹121.6 Cr in Q1 FY26.
Including other income of ₹19.7 Cr, total income for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹159.4 Cr
Geospatial technology company MapmyIndia reported a 6.3% increase in its consolidated net profit to ₹50.4 Cr in the first quarter of FY27 from ₹47.4 Cr a year earlier. Sequentially, profit declined 3.4% from ₹52.2 Cr.
Operating revenue rose 14.9% to ₹139.7 Cr during the quarter under review from ₹121.6 Cr. On a QoQ basis, however, it declined 3.6% from ₹145 Cr.
Including other income of ₹19.7 Cr, total income for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹159.4 Cr.
Meanwhile, total expenses jumped 26.6% to ₹92.9 Cr from ₹73.4 Cr in the corresponding quarter last year.
EBITDA remained largely flat at ₹56.1 Cr against ₹55.9 Cr a year earlier. However, EBITDA margin narrowed to 40.2% from 45.9% in Q1 FY26 due to a change in product mix and a one-time ₹4 Cr write-off related to a government customer.
MapmyIndia’s higher-margin map-led business generated revenue of ₹98.7 Cr during the quarter, broadly unchanged from a year ago. Meanwhile, revenue from its IoT-led business surged 75% YoY to ₹41.1 Cr, driven by growing adoption of connected mobility and logistics solutions.
On the customer segment front, automotive revenue rose 29% YoY to ₹58.8 Cr, driven by demand for connected mobility solutions. During the quarter, Tata Sierra EV adopted MapmyIndia’s EV trip-planning solution, while Suzuki Motorcycle, Vespa, Ultraviolette and Ampere launched new models integrated with the company’s navigation platform. MapmyIndia also expanded IoT deployments with VinFast and renewed a contract with a leading two-wheeler OEM.
Enterprise revenue increased 6% YoY to ₹64.2 Cr, aided by new deployments across mobility, logistics, BFSI, manufacturing, telecom and renewable energy. The company secured a video telematics contract with an online bus booking platform and expanded API deployments with a logistics player during the quarter under review.
Revenue from government customers, which accounted for about 12% of the company’s quarterly revenue, grew 11% YoY to ₹16.7 Cr. During the quarter, MapmyIndia secured an AI-enabled battlefield situational awareness platform for the defence sector and a GIS-enabled digital operations platform for a state public sector undertaking.
Shares of MapmyIndia closed 5.3% lower at ₹1,134.40 apiece on the BSE today.
