Home decor marketplace Vaaree has raised ₹65 Cr in a Series A funding round co-led by Hero Enterprise and Cap Alpha Ventures

The funding comes as startups increasingly deploy AI to improve product discovery and personalise the online shopping experience

Vaaree will use the fresh capital to strengthen its AI-powered discovery engine VibeCheck and expand its fulfilment network to speed up deliveries

Home decor marketplace VaareeVaaree Datalabs_in-article-icon has raised ₹65 Cr (around $6.8 Mn) in a Series A funding round co-led by Hero Enterprise and Cap Alpha Ventures (formerly Client Associates Alternate Fund).

The Bengaluru-based startup plans to use the fresh capital to expand its fulfilment network, accelerate delivery timelines, and strengthen its proprietary AI-powered discovery engine VibeCheck.

VibeCheck offers personalised product recommendations, room visualisations, and automated moodboards to help users discover home decor products based on their preferences and existing spaces.

“Most people know how they want their home to feel, but translating that into the right products is difficult. With VibeCheck, we want to give every Indian access to a personal home stylist, one that understands their taste, helps them visualise complete spaces and makes every recommendation instantly shoppable,” said cofounder Varun Vohra.

The startup also plans to set up additional fulfilment and quality-verification hubs in key markets to enable next-day deliveries while improving quality control and product availability.

Founded in 2022 by Vohra, Garima Luthra, and Pranav Arora, Vaaree operates an online marketplace for home decor products. Its platform offers more than 1.5 Lakh products across categories such as bedding, furnishings, kitchenware, bath products, and lighting.

Prior to this round, the startup has already raised over $6 Mn from investors like PeerCapital, Peak XV’s Surge, All In Capital, Better Capital, and Asian Paints family office.

The funding comes amid continued investor interest in the home improvement and home decor segment. Earlier this year, home improvement startup AllHome, started by the cofounders of PharmEasy, recently bagged a $21 Mn Series B fundraise. D2C homeware startup HomeEssentials also raised ₹70 Cr (around $7.7 Mn) in a pre-Series B round led by 360 ONE Asset.
