Vijay Deverakonda, who is eagerly awaiting the release of Kingdom on May 30, has lined up two more promising films. One of them, titled Rowdy Janardhan, is produced by Dil Raju and directed by Ravikiran Kola, known for Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru.
Dil Raju recently confirmed the title during the Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu press meet, stating that the film will go on floors soon. Billed as an intense action drama set in a rural backdrop, it is expected to have unexpected mass elements.

The latest update is that Keerthy Suresh has been finalized as the female lead, though an official announcement is yet to be made.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that she is also being considered for Nithiin’s Ellamma, which is also backed by Dil Raju. If true, she might have bagged both projects in a double deal with the production house.

Rowdy Janardhan is set to begin filming in May, with Dil Raju aiming for a quick wrap-up to ensure a first-half 2026 release.
If everything falls into place, he might even push it for a Sankranti release, as his production house currently has no festival releases lined up.

Interestingly, Rukmini Vasanth was initially considered for the role. However, since she has signed Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel’s film for a year, she is missing out on other big offers, including this one.
No heroine has been able to match Rashmika’s chemistry with Vijay Deverakonda. They were fire as a pair in Geetha Govindam. We have to see if Keerthy Suresh can match Rashmika in terms of chemistry with VD.
