Emraan Hashmi’s Ground Zero is releasing in theatres this Friday. It marks Emraan’s standalone film after a long break, and it is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.

Despite having a patriotic theme, the film is not creating enough buzz, and it seems like the makers are waiting for a positive word-of-mouth so that it can turn out to be successful. But with films like Kesari Chapter 2 getting a little bit more attention, Ground Zero’s fate remains unknown for now.
Emraan has managed to accumulate an authentic fanbase over the years. There was a time when Emraan’s films used to be a topic of discussion. But with time, people started getting attracted to big superstars, taking all the attention away from Emraan.

However, Emraan left an impression in 2023 by portraying the antagonist opposite Salman Khan in Tiger 3. He has also been cast in two Telugu films where he would share the screen with Pawan Kalyan and Adivi Sesh.
But Emraan still needs a solo hit film and he has the potential to do the same with superhit music and an amazing storyline. He did this many times in the past with films like Jannat, Murder 2, Raaz 3, Jannat 2, Aksar, Zeher, Murder, and more.

With four days left for release, Ground Zero needs better promotion to attract audiences to the big screen. The makers can also go for options like low ticket prices to grab the attention of everyone.
Ground Zero might not be looking like a commercial film. However, the makers can still expect some magic to happen like what we saw in terms of John Abraham’s Diplomat. Let’s wait for the film to release in theatres.
