Ajith Kumar’s upcoming action thriller Vidaamuyarchi is all set to take the box office by storm. After a settlement with Hollywood’s Paramount Pictures, the film has finally got a confirmed release date of February 6.
The trailer has already created a buzz, and the film is expected to open strongly at the box office.

Interestingly, keeping a potential postponement in mind, many overseas theatre chains have decided to open the bookings of the film only after receiving the content from the makers during the release week.
This cautious approach was taken to ensure that the film’s final version would be available in time for screenings, avoiding any issues that could arise from last-minute changes or delays in delivery.

Meanwhile, Dhanush’s production Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), which was initially scheduled for February 7, has been pushed to February 21 to make way for Vidaamuyarchi.
Ajith Kumar, in addition to the film’s excitement, was recently awarded the Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian honor, adding another feather to his cap.

Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaamuyarchi features an impressive cast including Trisha, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra. The film is produced by Lyca Productions, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Ajith is also gearing up for another major release, Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, which is scheduled for April 10. Both Vidaamuyarchi and Good Bad Ugly will be available for post-theatrical streaming on Netflix, which has secured their digital rights.
