On Day 10 (October 3) of the 2023 Asian Games, India’s ace pugilist Lovlina Borgohain won her semi-final bout in the women’s 75kg to advance to the final and book her place in the Paris Olympics as well. Salam Sunil Singh and Arjun Singh won the first medal of the day as they bagged bronze in the men’s Canoe double 1000m sprint race. India’s men’s cricket team beat Nepal by 23 runs in the quarterfinal to enter the semi-final. Preeti Pawar settled for bronze in the women’s 54kg boxing event after she lost her semi-final match.
