    Amit Shah summons top officials on Sunday to review Jammu and Kashmir scene | India News


    NEW DELHI: Home minister Amit Shah on Friday reviewed the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir with senior MHA officials in the wake of recent terrorist attacks in Doda, Kathua and Reasi districts in Jammu region and has called for a more broad-based review of the counter-strategies on Sunday with top officials of the J&K govt and the central security establishment.
    Sunday’s review of the J&K security situation in North Block will be attended by J&K LG Manoj Sinha, national security adviser Ajit Doval and senior officers of J&K administration and police as well Army, intelligence and para-military brass. They are expected to share their respective assessment of the latest spate of terror attacks as well as preparedness for the Amarnath Yatra scheduled from June 29 to August 19. The PM was also given an overview of the situation by both Shah and J&K officials, including the counter-actions that are underway.
