90% Claim of Sam CS Exposed?

The music director issue for Pushpa 2 became a hot topic before its release, as the producers sought help from multiple composers like Sam CS, Ajaneesh Loknath, and Thaman to complete the background score.

This decision created some tension with Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), who felt sidelined and indirectly addressed the matter at one of the film’s events.

In the end, Sam CS’s score was used alongside DSP’s background music (BGM).

Sam later claimed that he composed 90% of the score, but the release of both Sam CS and DSP’s OSTs has sparked mixed reactions.

Sam’s OST consists of 18 tracks, totaling about 16 minutes and 18 seconds, while DSP’s version runs for 33 minutes and 29 seconds. This reveals that DSP composed the majority of the background score, including the pivotal scenes.

People on social media are tagging Sam CS and saying, “The OST which you released consists mostly of Pushpa 1 and Daakko Daakko Meka themes. How can you boast of claiming 90% of the OST?”

Sam CS likely contributed significantly to key sequences, but his claim of composing 90% of the score doesn’t align with the final OSTs.

Fans have voiced differing opinions—some praise Sam for his intense work in a short span, while others believe DSP deserves the majority of the credit for the overall background score.

However, the debate continues.
