Chilean wealth management fintech Betterplan raised $1.1M in a round led by the Anastassiou family office. An undisclosed family office and existing investor Fondo Vulcano also participated.

Founded in 2020, Betterplan combines digital investment tools with personalized financial advice for individuals, families, and companies. The fintech initially focused on retail investors but shifted toward clients with larger portfolios, raising its minimum investment to about $100M Chilean pesos.

Betterplan will use the funding to expand into Argentina in the second half of 2026, where it plans to target investors seeking independent wealth management services.

The round brings Betterplan’s total funding to about $4M. The fintech manages about $150M for roughly 2,000 clients, up from $120M at the end of 2025. Betterplan has 18 employees and aims to double its assets under management in 2026.
