Brazilian Open Finance infrastructure fintech Pluggy raised a $3.5M Series A led by DGF, with participation from Y Combinator and Brazil Venture Capital. The round brings Pluggy’s total funding to about $6M.

Founded in 2020, Pluggy provides infrastructure that allows companies to access banking data, initiate payments, and offer financial services through their existing management platforms. Since June 2024, Pluggy has operated as a payment transaction initiator authorized by Brazil’s Central Bank.

Pluggy will use the funding to develop payment, collection, and embedded finance products and expand its integrations with financial institutions and management platforms.

Pluggy reached breakeven in 2024 and has remained profitable since. It expects to close 2026 with more than $4.6M in revenue. Pluggy connects nearly 500,000 registered businesses and serves about 500 direct clients whose platforms reach more than 10 million companies.
