US based AI customer support platform Capacity acquired Chilean startup Chattigo. The companies did not disclose the terms of the deal, but sources close to the transaction estimate Capacity paid about $60M.
Founded in 2015, Chattigo provides an AI platform that manages customer interactions across 15 digital channels. The platform automates customer service, sales, collections, and marketing, while routing conversations to human agents when needed.
The acquisition adds Chattigo’s WhatsApp technology, Spanish language capabilities, and operations in Chile and Mexico to Capacity’s platform. Capacity plans to use these capabilities to expand across Latin America, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
Capacity generates more than $100M in annual recurring revenue and serves over 20,000 customers. Before the acquisition, Chattigo surpassed $10M in annual recurring revenue after raising $2M.
