Brazilian fintech FAZ Cred raised $16M in 60 days through FAZ Cred Mais Trabalhador, a credit rights investment fund focused on private payroll loans for healthcare and education workers.

Founded in 2021, FAZ Cred started as Condolivre, providing credit to condominium workers. The fintech rebranded and shifted to private payroll lending after regulatory changes in March 2025 expanded access to this type of credit for formally employed workers in Brazil.

FAZ Cred will use the fund to expand into new industries, including the automotive and construction sectors.

FAZ Cred’s addressable market in the condominium sector grew from 60,000 to 400,000 workers.
