Brazilian financial infrastructure company Núclea signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Data Rudder, a startup that develops software to prevent financial crime. The transaction is subject to approval by Brazil’s Central Bank
Data Rudder’s platform includes real-time Pix transaction monitoring, interoperability between financial institutions, and compliance tools for anti-money laundering and counterterrorism financing.
The acquisition expands Núclea’s fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, and counterterrorism financing capabilities. By integrating Data Rudder’s technology, the company aims to shorten the time between detecting fraudulent transactions and blocking stolen funds, helping financial institutions recover assets more quickly.
