Union Minister for Civil Aviation K. Rammohan Naidu on Friday (June 19, 2026) said the entire State was making rapid progress under the vision and administration of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. The data centres in Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram and the international airport at Bhogapuram would benefit the North Andhra districts and bring more jobs for the region’s youth, he said.
The district administration organised a public meeting in Srikakulam to highlight the government’s achievements over the past two years. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rammohan Naidu said the government had given equal priority to development and welfare schemes despite many financial hurdles. He alleged that the opposition parties were unable to digest the government’s improved image and were trying to defame the ruling party and the government.
Public representatives of various constituencies spoke of the achievements and the implementation of the Super Six assurances, including three free LPG refills. Earlier, Collector Swapnil Dinakar Pundkar said the district administration had implemented all the welfare schemes effectively over the past two years. He said the government had focused on irrigation, agriculture and the district’s industrial progress.
