Agencies are investigating an explosion at a Harvard Medical School building Saturday morning, which arson investigators say was "intentional."

According to the The Harvard Crimson, the explosion took place at the Goldenson Building in Harvard’s Longwood Medical Campus.

A Harvard University Police Department officer was dispatched to the building shortly before 3 a.m. and observed two people fleeing the scene.

The Boston Fire Department Arson Unit responded to the scene and determined that the explosion was intentional.

The Boston Police Department did a sweep of the building and found no additional devices. No injuries were reported in connection with the explosion.

The FBI was on the scene assisting investigators. Anyone with information can contact the Harvard University Police Department at 617-495-1796.
