Athulya Senior Care, through its “Caring For A Senior” initiative, has donated wheelchairs to the Srirangam Sri Ranganathaswamy temple. The wheelchairs were handed over to S. Sivaramkumar, temple’s Joint Commissioner.

To complement the donation, two trained geriatric caretakers have been appointed on the temple premises. These professionals will assist elderly devotees in helping them navigate the large temple complex with greater ease.

Their support include providing mobility assistance, guidance around the temple premises and help with seating or resting as needed. The initiative aims at making spiritual experience more inclusive for the elderly devotees, a press release said.
