    Redmi A2, Redmi A2+ smartphones are now official in India. Xiaomi‘s sub-brand Redmi has expanded its entry-level smartphone lineup with the launch of Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ smartphones in India. Both the smartphones feature ab HD+ display and are powered by MediaTek chipset. The duo is backed by a 5000 mAh battery and runs Android 13 Go Edition.
    Price and availability
    Redmi A2 comes in three variants — 2GB+32GB, 2GB+64GB and 4GB+64GB priced at Rs 5,999, Rs 6,499 and Rs 7,499 respectively. On the other hand, the Redmi A2+ comes only in single variant 4GB+64GB priced at Rs 8,499. Both the smartphones come in Sea Green, Aqua Blue and Classic Black colour options. The smartphones will be available online on Amazon.in, mi.com and mi home stores in the country starting May 23. The smartphone maker has also announced that the senior citizens can avail exclusive ‘At-home service’ by raising a request on 1800 103 6286 or send a WhatsApp message on 8861826286.

    Redmi A2, Redmi A2+ specifications
    Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution with 60Hz refresh rate and up to 400 nits of peak brightness. The smartphones are powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G26 chipset paired with up to 4GB of RAM.
    Redmi A2 comes in two storage options — 32GB and 64GB, while the Redmi A2+ packs only 64GB internal stoarge. Both the smartphones come with microSD card support.
    The duo runs Android 13 Go Edition and the smartphones come with dual SIM support. The entry level Redmi smartphones feature a single lens 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter.
    Both the smartphones are backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
