YSR Congress did not stop the disgusting politics of involving family members of their Opponents.
They did not learn a lesson even though they were decimated to an unbelievable low in the recent elections.

Yerragondapalem MLA T Chandra Sekhar tried to shoot Nara Lokesh from the shoulders of his son, Devansh.
In the garb of appreciating Devansh’s Telugu, he tried to say he is being taught English and Japanese and urged Lokesh not to cancel English Medium for the children of SC, ST, BC, and Poor.

This is a cheap stunt to score political points using Devansh.
Lokesh or anyone in the Telugu Desam Party never opposed English Medium in Government Schools. In fact, it was the previous TDP Government that introduced English Medium in select schools across the state.

They only demanded the Government to have both the Mediums so that the students and their parents will get an option to choose whatever they feel like.
It is an option that should be available to Lokesh and all the SC, ST, BC, and Poor parents.
And then, the present government did not abolish the English Medium in Schools. YSR Congress leaders are trying to spread misinformation about the same.
It should be mentioned here that the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER), a nationwide household survey that captures the status of children’s enrollment and learning outcomes in rural India every year revealed that there is a sharp. decline in education standards during the tenure of former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The survey said that the findings reaffirmed that the quality of education deteriorated under the YSRCP regime due to arbitrary policies that led to school closures, poor attendance, and a lack of basic infrastructure such as drinking water and toilets.
The report highlighted that nearly half of Class VIII students struggle to read Class II books, underscoring the severity of the learning gap.
