Pastor Praveen Pagadala’s death mystery had shaken Andhra Pradesh Politics.
Praveen is notorious for making comments on the Hindu religion and beliefs. And so, Christian Organizations alleged that the suspicious death is a clear case of Revenge Murder.

YSR Congress tried to use this issue to its benefit.
It has been alleged that Pawan Kalyan, in the name of Sanathana Dharma, poisoned the minds of the Hindus and that has resulted in the killing of the Pastor. They tried to use the issue to corner the TDP and Pawan Kalyan at the same time.

If not handled properly, this issue can pan out into a tussle between the religions and even cause riots.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu immediately responded and ordered an investigation into the death. The CM and the DGP have been continuously monitoring the case for the last few days.

The Police are collecting the CCTV footage all the way from Hyderabad to Rajahmundry to establish what happened.
There are videos on Social Media where Praveen was seen purchasing liquor. There are people who testified that he was in an intoxicated state and even fell twice from his bike during the journey.
Even though the Police are yet to make an official statement in the case, it has been established that it is a case of an accident and no foul play is involved.
The Post-Mortem and Forensic reports are yet to come. If the reports ascertain that he was drunk, the case will be more or less closed.
Chandrababu Naidu luckily averted a major religious conflict in the state thanks to the CCTV Cameras.
Or else, this would have been a major issue and a potential Law and Order Problem.
YSR Congress tried to pounce on the issue, and they did more harm to the community and Praveen’s family than any favor.
Firstly, if he is drunk, there are no chances of getting Insurance claims. If he has any policies, it will be a big problem for the family.
Also, a Pastor getting drunk and involved in an accident will also attract negativity, which will be uncomfortable for the community.
