YSRCP Cadre’s New Target: Dharma Reddy

Three months after the public verdict, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy still seems unable to fully accept his election defeat. Initially, YSRCP’s social media blamed Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for the loss.

However, as time passed, several YSRCP leaders began shifting the blame towards key figures within the party, particularly Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Vijay Sai Reddy, and Dhanunjay Reddy. K. Ravichandra Reddy, the official spokesperson for YSRCP, openly criticized Sajjala and Vijay Sai for their roles in the party’s mismanagement.

Adding fuel to the fire, the recent scandal involving the adulteration of Srivari Laddu has caused outrage not just in the Telugu-speaking states, but among Hindus worldwide. National media has been relentlessly airing live debates on the issue for the past two days.

This scandal, combined with the election loss, has deepened the frustration within the YSRCP cadre, leaving many feeling cornered and without a strong defense. The party’s spokespersons have avoided participating in televised debates, as they reportedly have no solid argument to counter the mounting criticism against YS Jagan and his administration.

Internally, YSRCP workers are increasingly directing their anger toward Dharma Reddy, who was appointed as the Executive Officer of TTD, blaming him for many of the irregularities in TTD’s operations.

Instead of solely holding YS Jagan responsible for the election defeat, the YSRCP cadre has expanded the blame to include several top leaders—Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Dhanunjay Reddy, YV Subba Reddy, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, and even Dharma Reddy, pointing to their collective mismanagement as key reasons for the party’s downfall. In Social Media, YSRCP cadre internally blamed Dharma Reddy in their discussions.
