Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja’s film Martin has caused a stir after YouTuber Strong Sudhakar (Sudhakar Gowda) criticized it in a review.
Following the film’s release, which received overwhelmingly negative feedback, Sudhakar called Martin “the worst movie I’ve ever seen” and accused its creators of trying to copy the success of the blockbuster KGF.

He also compared it unfavorably to Upendra’s Kabzaa, further angering fans of Dhruva Sarja.
In response to Sudhakar’s harsh review, fans filed a complaint against him, leading to the police at Madanayakanahalli station removing the video and warning him. After facing backlash, Sudhakar deleted the video and apologized.

However, a warrant for his arrest had already been issued due to an earlier assault case from seven years ago, resulting in his detention and a court appearance.
Sudhakar’s review received mixed reactions from the Kannada people. Some viewers supported his right to express criticism but also urged others to stand by Kannada cinema, regardless of negative feedback.
