youth was arrested for abusing Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan online. The youth identified as Sheikh Irfan was taken into custody by the police in Mulukaluru, Narasaraopet.
Local Jana Sena leader Lakshminarayana filed a complaint and a case was lodged based on it. In April, 2025, a similar case was filed on a youth in Kurnool district.

It is widely known that leaders of YSRCP who are using abusive language are also being given notices and/ or are being arrested for using offensive language against the alliance leaders Chandrababu, Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan Kalyan being an actor-cum-politician, is a soft target for those spitting venom on social media channels.

The alliance government has time again said that one must have self-restraint and refrain from making baseless comments and using offensive language.
Even during the recently concluded Mahanadu, Nara Lokesh appealed to politicians and citizens of AP to stop using abusive language and sharing insulting posts.

The AP police too are being vigilant and taking stern action on those breaking social etiquette.
