Bharat, a YSRCP nominee and MLC, has faced legal trouble following allegations of ticket fraud. Bharat, who contested against TDP President Chandrababu Naidu in Kuppam on behalf of YSRCP, was promised a ministerial position by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy if he won the election. However, his involvement in a ticket scam has now raised serious concerns.
In August, residents from Guntur filed a complaint against Bharat and his personal assistant (PA), alleging that they were cheated out of ₹2.5 lakhs. The money was supposedly paid for securing “Tomala Seva” tickets for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).

Evidence, including online money transfers and WhatsApp chats, was submitted by the victims, highlighting how recommendation letters were being used to facilitate the sale of tickets.
Selling VIP tickets, particularly those related to Tirumala’s darshan, became a big business during the YSRCP regime, and similar practices were attempted to continue during the TDP regime.

An unknown MLC from YSRCP allegedly used position as an MLC to issue recommendation letters, selling VIP break darshan tickets at inflated prices. A devotee named Sai Kumar from Bangalore purchased six tickets for ₹65,000, further escalating the controversy.
Following these complaints, the TTD Vigilance Wing and the police have registered cases against Bharat and two others, launching an investigation into the fraudulent ticket sale. The scam has not only hurt the public’s faith but also tarnished the image of YSRCP, casting a shadow over Bharat’s political career.
