Chhaava: Will Vicky Kaushal Match Ajay Devgn or Ranveer Singh?
The trailer of Chhaava has created buzz, mostly positive. The visuals look strong so opening should be good. If content is as good as the trailer Chhaava will be a big hit.

But there are some concerns especially about the authenticity of certain things like dialogue and Vicky Kaushal.
One big issue is the dialogue. Phrases like “chir dalunga, faad dalunga, war ho jayega” and the use of the word “war” doesn’t fit in Maratha era.

These modern expressions will break the historical immersion and will dent the authenticity of the film.For period dramas staying true to the language of the time is very important to keep the audience engaged.
Vicky Kaushal has big shoes to fill as Sambhaji Maharaj. Ranveer in Bajirao Mastani and Ajay in Tanhaji have set the bar high for Maratha warrior roles.

Both actors were fierce and emotional. Vicky will have to find that balance to live up to those performances.
Vicky has to combine the physicality and emotional complexity of Sambhaji Maharaj. He has done it in the past but matching the intensity and authenticity of Ranveer and Ajay is no small task. His performance will be a big factor in the film’s success.
Chhaava looks good but Bajirao Mastani and Tanhaji comparisons are unavoidable. Vicky has the skill but only time will tell if he can match up to Ranveer and Ajay.
