Tollywood is in shortage of able music directors as neither Thaman nor DSP are the mainstream choices for Tollywood’s pan Indian films these days. The likes of Santosh Narayanan(Kalki) and Anirudh(Devara) are awaiting the big league now while DSP’s only notable film remains to be Pushpa 2.
In this context, a talented music composer has entered the scene and he is Malayalam cinema’s Jakes Bejoy. While he has always been a talented musician, he could never really break big in South cinema.

Now, in the case of Saripodhaa Sanivaram, Bejoy’s work is being appreciated by one and all. His musical work for the film stands as one of the highlights. This was always expected considering his impeccable ability to roll out gripping elevation BGM. His work for King of Kotha was a testament of the same.
Even in Saripodhaa, Jakes Bejoy’s work is being lauded from all sections. He has again proven that he is very much capable of producing elevation BGMs which are pretty much the need of the hour for Tollywood’s commercial pan Indian films.

Though Bejoy’s songs might not necessarily suit all sections of the Telugu audience, his BGM is impeccable. Will this mean that Tollywood star would recognize this talented composer and provide him with opportunities in their big league films, at least for the BGM work? We will know soon.
