It has been always believed that male actors can only contribute to the progress of a storyline in any film. But over the years, this thinking has witnessed a change considering that females are also being offered strong roles that match the qualities of the ones played by a male.
Notably, most of the films where a female played the lead turned out to be successful. Two big projects from two major production companies with a similar theme are already scheduled to be released soon on the big screen.

The first in the list is Jigra, which features Alia Bhatt in the lead. It has managed to grab the headlines due to its attractive teaser and trailer.
The glimpses don’t have enough thrilling moments as expected and considering that the makers are hiding a lot of things from the public, audiences would not step back from visiting the theatres.

Alia is expected to perform some amazing action scenes which will help to grab the attention of the audience. The actress had previously impressed the viewers by taking the lead in Gangubai Kathiawadi, where we saw the journey of a woman who becomes fearless at one point.
While Jigra is supposed to bring more success to the genre of female-centric films, there is Alpha from the YRF Spy Universe, which will also include Alia Bhatt in the lead alongside Sharvari Wagh.
