Bollywood is currently going through a drought at the moment with consistent flops at the box office.
Whether it was the highly anticipated Kesari Chapter 2 or Jaat, both miserably failed at the box office despite getting mediocre reviews from critics and audiences.

While Kesari Chapter 2 struggles at the box office with collections nearing 60 crores at the moment, Jaat aims to enter the 100 crore club but it might not cross that mark given its current performance.
Within 45 days, the box office will be showcasing two huge films including Housefull 5 and Raid 2.

Akshay Kumar has been consistently giving flops at the box office in recent years and Housefull 5 remains to be a do-or-die for Akshay to cement his legacy at the box office.
On the other hand, Ajay Devgn’s Raid created huge headlines at the box office after its release in 2018 and with the sequel lined up for May 1st release, the film looks to be huge given the stellar cast.

However, the hype for the film hasn’t been upto the mark despite having huge names and a compelling plot.
Housefull 5 has a huge cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri and many more actors.
With a promising cast, it remains to be seen if the film brings back its old-school comedy which has been a trademark for the franchise.
All in all, both Raid 2 and Housefull 5 are huge franchises and have the potential to bolster the box office. However, only time will tell if Bollywood will be able to make an impact with these two releases this Summer.
