Janasena won a single MLA seat in the 2019 elections. Rapaka Varaprasad is the only MLA who won on the Janasena ticket while Pawan Kalyan himself lost in both the seats he contested.
Rapaka later deserted the party and joined the YSR Congress. He criticized Pawan Kalyan and Janasena party and did as much damage as possible.

In 2024, Rapaka was denied Razole ticket and Jagan made him contest for Amalapuram Parliament and he lost.
Pawan Kalyan is the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and a crucial leader of this Government.

Rapaka is trying to get back to Janasena now.
He attended the Janasena meeting that happened in Malkipuram today. Razole MLA Devi Varaprasad headed the meeting.

There were rumors that Rapaka is trying to get back to Janasena while the former MLA claims he came to the meeting for pending works.
The question is if Pawan Kalyan will allow Rapaka into the party.
Pawan Kalyan is a Politician no doubt about it but people expect him to be different from regular politicians.
Regular Politics quickly forget leaders who insulted them and caused damage to the party. They only say to themselves and the cadre that future interests are important and propagate the line – “There are no permanent friends and enemies in Politics”.
We will have to see what Pawan Kalyan decides but Janasainiks hope Rapaka will be denied entry. They say anyways he does not add any value to the party.
