Game Changer was expected to be a hit, but it failed to connect with the audience. The film’s outdated content and poor direction, combined with anti-fan trolling, turned what could have been a below-average film into a full-fledged disaster.
As the theatrical run of Game Changer comes to an end, it appears that distributors have suffered substantial losses. However, producer Dil Raju seems to have shielded himself financially, thanks to his deals with studios and OTT platforms.

Actress Anjali recently addressed the film’s poor performance and the criticism surrounding her role. Before the release, she had hoped her performance would earn national recognition, and the team had even hyped up her character.
During promotions for Madha Gaja Raja, Anjali shared her thoughts: “As an actor, what matters is whether we’ve fulfilled the responsibility given to us. I gave my 200% to my role. The success of the film isn’t in our hands; that’s in the hands of the audience.”

She went on to mention, “The general audience who watched the movie told me I was good in the movie. No one said the movie was bad. They praised my character which is more than enough for me. We invest a lot of trust in a movie, but sometimes the result doesn’t turn out as expected, and that’s disheartening.”
Regarding the issues with Game Changer, Anjali mentioned, “This platform won’t be enough for me to talk about what went wrong with Game Changer. It requires a separate interview of 30-45 minutes to explain everything in detail.”

The big question now is whether Anjali will reveal the full story behind the film’s failure. Will she shed light on whether director Shankar was present on set throughout or if his assistants directed parts of the film? Will she discuss if the final cut matched the original script?
Given the involvement of big names, we may never fully know what went wrong with Game Changer.
