YCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has consistently made baseless and illogical statements to justify his failures in elections. This pattern began with the general elections held earlier this year.
In the latest meeting with his party workers, he alleged that TDP bulldozed the recently held irrigation society elections by giving No Due Certificates to farmers favourable to them and denying them to farmers who were against them.

He said, “Elections should be held democratically. When you (TDP) decided to give No Due Certificates to farmers who support you and won’t give certificates to those who don’t support you, what is the use of holding elections?”
In the first place, Jagan himself boycotted the Irrigation Society elections. Eventually, TDP candidates won all irrigation society elections unanimously.

He also accused the government of issuing NDCs from mandal offices rather than gram panchayats. “They bulldoze elections in that way and falsely claim that farmers are happy under their rule. If you really want to know if the farmers are happy or not, resign and see,” Jagan challenged.
People are finding it funny to see Jagan delivering such challenges after he himself boycotted the Irrigation Society elections. They opined that instead of challenging the government parties, Jagan and his 10 MLAs should resign and re-contest to see if farmers are really happy or not.
