Mukesh Khanna is recently getting viral for his views on various subjects. In a recent interview, he has talked about Akshay Kumar and his film Prithviraj Chauhan.
Mukesh Khanna has bashed Akshay Kumar for his sloppy portrayal of Prithviraj Chauhan. He said, “When Akshay saab stood, people didn’t see him as Prithviraj Chauhan because he did not take care.”

It is really frustrating that an epic historical on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan is shot under 40 days. And the lead actor does not even care to grow a real moustache. The lack of dedication and passion has taken a toll on Akshay’s recent career too.
He did not work on his body, his gait, even the action scenes that he is known for. Mechanically telling away some dialogues does not make a movie like Prithviraj Chauhan.

Mukesh Khanna said he even interviewed the director Chandraprakash Dwivedi and said, “Why did you do that? You put on a wig like this, you kept a mustache, and Akshay looked like Akshay.”
Chandraprkash Jha has given many iconic historical shows for Doordarshan and his capability is well known. But it is the lack of dedication from the lead actor that is the reason behind the movie’s failure.
