Thanks to Pawan Kalyan choosing to contest from Pithapuram, TDP Incharge there, SVSN Varma is an aggrieved party twice.
Firstly, he had to sacrifice his seat, and then, he was ignored and insulted in his own party.

Chandrababu Naidu promised to accommodate Varma in the first list of MLCs for the Sacrifice he made, but could not accommodate him in the two lists that are out so far.
There are speculations that Pawan Kalyan is blocking him as he does not want another Power Center in Pithapuram.

Even though Pawan Kalyan did not reveal any insecurity towards Varma, we have seen Naga Babu opening up.
At this juncture, Janasena Leader Kranthi Barlapudi, daughter of Mudragada Padmanabham, made some comments that are completely unnecessary.

She refuted the allegations that Pawan Kalyan is insecure of Varma, and giving him or not giving an MLC seat is completely an internal matter of the Telugu Desam Party.
If she stopped there, it would have been the right approach, but she went even more excess.
“There are reports that Varma is in contact with the YSR Congress. We have seen YSR Congress’s Social Media already working for Varm,a amplifying his grievances. Perhaps that is why CBN has not given him the MLC seat. Varma is trying to undermine Pawan Kalyan’s growing influence. Varma should remember that Pithapuram has already accepted Pawan as a strong and emerging leader,” Kranthi said.
Kranthi has no political experience. She was brought into the party to counter Mudragada Padmanabham before the elections.
We do not know if these comments are her own or as directed by the Party.
But it is a blunder either way.
Antagonizing Varma is a blunder by Janasena for no reason.
Firstly, if Varma is upset and joins YSR Congress, his personal image and YSR Congress’ pull will be a big headache for Pawan Kalyan in 2029 elections. Not all elections are wave elections like the 2024 election.
Celebrities do not find time for their constituencies. They often have a leader in there to take care of electioneering.
Chandrababu and Jagan barely visit their constituencies. Their men take care of everything.
Varma did that single-handedly in 2024.
Pawan Kalyan is a Minister now, and it becomes even more difficult for him to concentrate on the constituency.
There may be Janasena leaders in the constituency and the district, but they are not capable of handling it.
If Varma had been duly respected by being him an MLC, he would have become a Janasena loyalist and would have taken care of everything in Pawan Kalyan’s absence.
Now by disrespecting and disappointing him, Pawan Kalyan is only creating an unnecessary mess for himself in Pithapuram.
This maybe an act of Kranthi to impress Pawan Kalyan and Janasena’s rank and file with over-enthusiastic comments. But the Party High Command should immediately talk to her and send a right message.
