The demand to make Nara Lokesh as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is slowly increasing in TDP. The other day, TDP Polit Bureau Member Srinivas Reddy raised the demand in a Public Meeting with Chandrababu Naidu on the stage.
On expected lines, Chandrababu Naidu is tight-lipped about it. The demand for making Nara Lokesh the Deputy CM is slowly increasing in the party and it would not stop.

Probably, Naidu has to make a decision sooner or later. Meanwhile, it is interesting to see Janasena Supporters are feeling insecure about these demands.
On social media, we can see them vehemently oppose the proposal with strange reasons.

Some people say it will lead to unintended consequences and may even break the alliance.
Some people are alleging that it is a conspiracy against Pawan Kalyan and the demands are artificially propelled to make Lokesh the Deputy Chief Minister.

Some are going overboard and are saying that Pawan Kalyan should be made the Chief Minister in case Nara Lokesh is elevated as the Deputy Chief Minister.
But why is this insecurity in Janasena Supporters?
Nara Lokesh worked hard in the last five years. In fact, he worked harder than Chandrababu Naidu or Pawan Kalyan. He improved his image in the Public by leaps and bounds and won the confidence of the people. His record majority in Mangalagiri is an indication of that.
He also earned the necessary acceptance in the party. His track record as the Minister between 2014 and 2019 needs no explanation. So why should he be denied an opportunity?
In fact, Naidu made a Big Mistake by not naming him as the Second Deputy Chief Minister immediately after winning.
It is a joke that this demand is artificially manufactured. It is bound to happen now or then. It happened now. It is quite common that such demand will pick up in a ruling party as every one would want to impress Lokesh. Naidu can do it any time if he intends to because he is not running a Government that is dependent on allies.
How is Nara Lokesh‘s elevation a threat to Pawan Kalyan? He can still work hard on the ground and in his portfolios to impress the people. It is not like Lokesh is going to grab Pawan Kalyan‘s Powers.
Both of them hold distinctly different portfolios and there should be no problems whatsoever.
The last Government had five Deputy Chief Ministers. Janasena Supporters feeling insecure about Nara Lokesh is only insulting Pawan Kalyan. Both Pawan Kalyan and Lokesh are bonded so beautifully. They should not be put through this.
Some people are threatening that this will disrupt the alliance and this means handing over power to Jagan in a platter. This type of comments are totally unwarranted and showcase Janasena as Power Hungry and it is completely against the hard-earned image of Pawan Kalyan.
Janasena Supporters should not wish for the alliance failing. They should not forget the memories of 2019-24 and the disastrous results the party got by going alone and how even Pawan Kalyan failed to win.
They may assume the 21/21 Victory is their own strength but Pawan Kalyan is someone who is well aware of the reality.
Some people are raising the issue of Nepotism to counter Lokesh’s elevation but the same people were cheering the cabinet berth for Nagababu saying that he worked really hard for the party.
If Chandrababu Naidu decides to elevate Nara Lokesh, one can be sure that it will be Pawan Kalyan who will be proposing it.
