Senior leader and former minister Botsa Satyanarayana has contested the MLC elections for the Visakhapatnam local bodies on behalf of the YSR Congress Party. While everything seemed fine initially, strong suspicions have arisen within the YSRCP cadre, indicating possible internal differences.
The key reason for these suspicions is the absence of Uttarandhra district in-charge and YSRCP key leader, YV Subbareddy, from the nomination program. Despite being in Visakhapatnam, Subbareddy did not attend the event, raising eyebrows among party ranks.

What caught even more attention was the fact that YV Subbareddy turned back just as he reached the main gate of the district collector’s office, where the nominations were being filed. Subbareddy has had differences with leaders like Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and Vijay Sai Reddy, though he maintains good relations with other senior party members.
It is also noteworthy that other prominent leaders from the erstwhile Visakhapatnam district, including former minister Avanti Srinivas and former MP MVV Satyanarayana, were also absent from the nomination event.

Both of these leaders are known to be close to Subbareddy, which further fuels speculation. The key question now is why YV Subbareddy did not attend the nomination program. His absence, along with the silence of other leaders, has led to growing suspicions and questions within the party.
