Senior heroes Jagapathi Babu and Srikanth were once ruling Tollywood with family dramas and love stories. They earned a massive female fan following. However, with the rise of actors from the younger generation, they were left behind.
But instead of fading away, they adapted by taking on roles as character artists and villains, and now they are back in demand. These veteran actors are getting good opportunities in pan-Indian films.

Recently, Srikanth played a crucial role in Devara. He got one good scene in the film where he elevates Vara’s character.
His next big film is going to be Shankar’s Game Changer with Ram Charan as the hero. Srikanth hinted that his role in Game Changer would be unexpected.

Reports suggest that he will appear as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Bobbili Sathya Murthi, in the film. Initially, he will be supportive of Ram Charan but later turns into the main villain.
However, Srikanth’s look from Game Changer became a target of trolling. Many felt the makeup and prosthetics used made him look artificial and fake.

On the other hand, Jagapathi Babu is also making waves in pan-Indian films. After playing important roles in films like Salaar, he surprised everyone with his appearance in the Pushpa 2 trailer.
He will be seen as Kogata Veera Pratap Reddy. The trailer also starts with his striking dialogue: “No calculation for money, no fear of power, there’s some unknown pain in him.”
Jagapathi Babu’s look in the trailer appeared impressive and it seems he will be playing a crucial role.
While Srikanth’s look from Ram Charan’s Game Changer didn’t receive much love from the audience, Jagapathi Babu made an impact in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 trailer.
We have to see who wins the senior hero game after the movies are released.
