Former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has been in hibernation mode ever since his defeat in December 2023.
KCR has been mostly confined to his Erravelli Farmhouse and did not even attend the Assembly sessions except for one day.

Except for the Parliament elections campaign, KCR is mostly silent. It is KTR and Harish Rao who are doing the heavy lifting for the BRS.
And now even KTR has disappeared. After Kavitha got bail in the Delhi Liquor Scam, KTR headed to the United States for a holiday.

There has been so much political activity happening in the state since then.
There are demolitions in the city in the name of HYDRAA not sparing the super rich and the super poor. And then, there were floods that hit Khammam district.

And then, there are Arekapudi Gandhi and Padi Kaushik Reddy who resorted to street fights in the heart of the city destroying the brand image of Hyderabad.
KTR is trying to make up for his absence by continuously tweeting on the issues but BRS is clearly missing him.
Harish Rao is trying to fill up the gap but is clearly unable to.
‘When will KTR come back?’ – the discussion has started even in the BRS cadre now. With no KCR and KTR, the BRS is clearly struggling on the ground.
