The rest period is nearly over for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. After winning the Asia Cup, the two batters along with Hardik Pandya were rested for the first 2 ODI matches against Australia. But now the time has come for them to rejoin the India Cricket Team camp. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are slated to join Team India in Rajkot on 25th September, Monday.
Having comfortably won the IND vs AUS 1st ODI, the focus now shifts to the second game of the series. The Men in Blue will lock horns with the mighty Aussies at the Holkar Cricket Stadium which promises to be an entertaining India vs Australia encounter.
In the first 2 matches of the IND vs AUS series, KL Rahul has been leading the charge for the Men in Blue. But with match fitness and preparations needed, the trio of Rohit, Kohli, and Hardik will join the camp on Monday, a day after India vs Australia’s 2nd ODI.
