Whenever a movie directed by Puri Jagannadh is about to be released, a significant section of movie fans genuinely hopes for his comeback.
We don’t see this kind of anticipation with other directors who have delivered several hits, such as Srinu Vaitla. This is where Puri makes a difference and showcases the impact he has created. If it were someone else who had been delivering back-to-back disasters like Puri, they would either become a target for trolling or would be ignored altogether.

Before every film release, whether it’s Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger or Ram’s Double iSmart, a section of fans hopes for Puri to deliver and succeed. However, the same story tends to repeat with each of his films, where he delivers a bigger flop than the previous one.
Now, the bigger question is whether he will ever be able to deliver a hit film, or if we should simply move on and let go of our hopes for him.
