The Tata Harrier is currently one of the country’s most popular mid-size SUVs. Since its launch, the model has garnered a ton of interest from buyers and continues to consistently post strong sales. However, despite its popularity, the fact that it requires a significant facelift cannot be overlooked. Tata Motors has taken note of this issue and is reportedly working on the facelift for this model. Recently, a few test mules of the forthcoming Harrier facelift have been spotted in the country, and combining the details from all of them, a digital artist has shared his rendition of the Harrier facelift.
The rendered video of the upcoming Tata Harrier facelift has been shared on YouTube by SRK Designs on their channel. SRK Designs is one of the many talented digital artists in the country who specialize in creating realistic renders of popular and highly anticipated cars. The artist for this rendering of the Harrier facelift has taken inspiration from the test mules spotted in the country so far. This render helps us imagine what the upcoming Harrier could look like.

From the render, we can see that the forthcoming Harrier will boast an all-new, aggressive, and bold front fascia compared to the outgoing model. It will feature sharp creases and depart from the bulbous design of the current model. The top front grille will be sleeker and have a more futuristic look, while the headlights will be vertically stacked instead of being encased in a hexagonal surround. The SUV will also receive an all-new bumper, which will be sharper and enhance the car’s appearance by giving it a more upright stance. The lower section of the front bumper will also feature a silver skid plate.
No changes have been made to the sides in the render, and the test mules that were spotted also suggest that there won’t be many changes to the side profile of this popular SUV. Additionally, at the rear, not many changes are expected to be seen except for some design alterations on the rear bumper.
The artist has not created any renders for the interior of the upcoming Tata Harrier. However, recent spy images showed that the dashboard design will remain the same as the current version, but the major difference will be a new touchscreen infotainment screen. The instrument cluster was not clearly visible in the picture, but we expect Tata to update that as well. Additionally, the spy shot clearly revealed the faux wooden panel on the dashboard and the multifunction steering wheel.
In other Harrier facelift news, a recent report indicated that Tata Motors will likely offer the updated Harrier with its recently unveiled 1.5 L TGDi petrol engine. The company showcased the four-cylinder turbo petrol engine at the Delhi Auto Expo in 2023. The manufacturer claims that this new motor can generate 170 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 280 Nm between 2,001 and 3,500 rpm. Additionally, it has been claimed that Tata Motors will use the same petrol engine for both the updated Safari and the new mid-size Tata Curvv. It is predicted that the engine will also be used in the ICE version of the Tata Sierra, which is scheduled for release in 2025.
