Nandamuri Mokshagna was announced to be making his debut with HanuMan fame Prasanth Varma.
Nandamuri fans were very excited about the project. The two pictures of the youngster released so far and launching by a successful young director excited the fans.

The movie was supposed to have its formal launch this morning. All the arrangements were done but it was called off at the last minute.
AP Minister Nara Lokesh who was the Chief Guest for the launch was also informed at the last hour.

So what went wrong at the last minute?
Mokshagna and Prasanth were travelling together for months. The Balakrishna’s scion was trained at Satyanand in Vishakapatnam for few months. Then, he was being trained with RP Patnaik. Prasanth was closely working with him preparing him for acting, diction, dances, and fights.

Last night, he was at Salon Koniki in Jubilee Hills dyeing his hair. The Stylist at the Salon is Pawan Kalyan’s stylist. Prasanth Varma is also present there instructing the stylist.
The costume trials and a photoshoot also happened earlier in the day. The director and the actor headed to their homes hoping to meet the next day (Today) for the launch.
Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri got a 30-40 Lakh Rupees Set in Ramanaidu Studios for the launch. Two posters were also readied to be given out after the launch.
Late night, they were informed that Mokshagna is not doing well. Later, Balakrishna also called Prasanth Varma and informed that Mokshagna is not doing well and we will postpone the launch.
Prasanth tried to convince that they will take a call in the morning and to see if Mokshu can come for just 30 minutes. But they did not get a favorable response. At this moment, both the director and producer got panicked.
Late in the night, Tejaswini messaged the team that Mokshu needs more time and we will take up the project later on.
Reliable sources say that Mokshagna is always not fully into doing films but it is the pressure of Balakrishna.

Prasanth Varma was so emotionally invested in the project. He agreed to this project despite having Jai Hanuman and Prabhas’s film just because someone like Balakrishna asked him to launch his son.
He traveled so much with the subject that he is disappointed at how his hard work ended now. The Pre-production and 3D models are already ready for the film. The CG work also started. He has enough work on hand but this is a bitter experience.
Prasanth Varma is likely to meet Prabhas in a day or two and will get clarity on the dates. Rishab Shetty has also agreed to give dates whenever necessary once Jai Hanuman is ready to go on floors after extensive Pre-production.
Balakrishna is regularly in touch with Prasanth Varma since yesterday. Prasanth Varma will wait and give time for them to decide and give a clarity about the project.
