What channel is Chargers vs. Cardinals on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 12 game

The Chargers and Cardinals haven’t met since 2018, when the starting quarterbacks were Philip Rivers and Josh Rosen. Arizona entered that game trending downward toward the No. 1 overall draft pick and a coaching change. While this season isn’t as ugly as that one for the Cardinals, it might bring another change.

Kliff Kingsbury is squarely on the hot seat with Arizona at 4-7. The Cardinals’ defense was torched by the 49ers’ Jimmy Garoppolo in Week 11. Justin Herbert will have a chance to put up numbers and get the Chargers back on track.

Herbert hasn’t been disappointing this season, but the year hasn’t unfolded the way the Chargers hoped. At 5-5, they’re on the outside looking in in the AFC and staring at yet another disappointing finish.

The story has been the same: Injuries continue to ravage the roster from top to bottom, and the defense hasn’t risen to the challenge against Patrick Mahomes in two games against the Chiefs.

Fortunately for the Chargers, Mahomes won’t be on the other sideline in this game. Whether it’s Kyler Murray or backup Colt McCoy under center for the Cardinals, Arizona brings a pedestrian offense and scuffling defense to the field. If Brandon Staley’s team can’t capitalize here, the goal of breaking through and earning a playoff berth may prove out of reach.
