What Action Will Police Take on Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy?

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, a former adviser to the Andhra Pradesh government, was interrogated by the police in connection with the attack on the TDP office in Mangalagiri. He was listed as A120 (Accused No. 120) in the case after the police found evidence implicating him in the attack.

Following a notice issued by the police, Sajjala appeared at the Mangalagiri Police Station on Thursday for questioning. During the interrogation, Sajjala reportedly did not cooperate fully. When the police asked for his phone number, he refused to provide it, and his responses were evasive, according to the police.

He also claimed he was not present on the day of the attack. Despite this, the police stated that they have evidence pointing to his involvement in the incident.
The court had previously issued an order protecting Sajjala from arrest until October 24th, with the condition that he fully cooperate with the investigation.

With his non-cooperative behavior during the interrogation, there are speculations that the police might seek to take him into custody once the court’s protection expires. His role in the attack, along with the evidence gathered, could result in further legal actions depending on the progress of the investigation.
