In what could be considered a huge disastrous development, Suriya’s recent film Kanguva was sent to Oscars nominations. The film is one of the paid entries for the mighty Oscars.

Kanguva is on the list of eligible films to be nominated for Best Picture at The Oscars, among 323 films across the globe.
While this film got unanimously rejected at the box office and director, Siva was brutally trolled on social media for rolling out a cringe product, the makers have somehow found the audacity to push this film for the Oscars now.

Kanguva could stay in the news weeks after the theatrical release as the cringe scenes from the film trended on social media. This got aggravated with the OTT release.
And now, the makers have found the grit to send this film to the Oscars. This has in turn led to more serious trolls on the film as people are finding the thinking pattern of the director and producer very funny.

There are certain films that don’t quite do well at the box office but have the credence to go for awards. Sadly for Kanguva, this film doesn’t come under this category either. It was unanimously trolled and humiliated on all fronts.
Now all of a sudden, it finds itself in the race for the Oscars.
