WB Board WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2023 Live Updates: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will release the West Bengal Madhyamik 10th Result 2023 today at 10:00 AM. After the announcement of the West Bengal Board Results 2023, students will be able to check their results from the official website – wbbse.org and wbresults.nic.in. ABP LIVE is also hosting the result. Students can check their result on news.abplive.com. To access their WB Board Results 2023, students will need to provide their Roll Number and other necessary credentials.

“This is for the information of all concerned that the Results of Madhyamik Pariksha (S.E.), 2023, will be announced by the Hon’ble President of the Board on 19th May 2023, at 10:00 am through a press conference,” reads the official Press note shared by the Board earlier.

It is essential for students to cross-verify the information on their mark sheets with the details on their WBBSE Madhyamik admit card/hall ticket. If any discrepancy is found, students should promptly contact the authorities for resolution.

The Class 10 or Madhyamik exams were conducted from February 23 to March 4 between 12:45 pm to 3 pm.

This year, a total of 6,98,628 students registered for the Class 10 examinations. The decline in WBBSE Madhyamik registrations (from over 10 lakh in 2022 to 6.98 lakh this year) could be attributed to students feeling unprepared for the board exams due to online classes, as mentioned by WBBSE president Ramanuj Ganguly.

In 2022, the overall pass percentage for the WBBSE Madhyamik exams was 86.60%. A total of 11,18,821 students appeared for the exam.

In 2021, the WBBSE 10th Board examinations were canceled due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, the board assessed the students based on internal evaluations and promoted all of them. A 100% pass rate was reported for that year. In 2020, the examinations were conducted before the lockdown, and the pass rate was reported to be 86.34%, slightly higher than in 2019.
