Hugo Ekitiké got on the scoresheet first in the 13th minute, followed by a Carlos Soler finish in the 78th minute to go up 2-1 after Châteauroux leveled the match in the first half. Juan Bernat then put the nail in the coffin for PSG with his goal in the 91st minute of the match to leave it at 3-1.
