War 2’s Only Winning Chance?

Junior NTR will be making his straight Bollywood debut with War 2. This was a strategical move to improve the direct Hindi market of NTR and to capitalise on the early start given by RRR.

Keeping the strategies aside, if we look at the logistical side of things, there are certain challenges for NTR to counter.

A multi starrer with Ram Charan is completely different from a multi starrer with Hrithik Roshan. The point to be noted here is that NTR and Charan have similar physical traits and carry a similar wavelength.

But on the other hand, Hrithik is a much bigger build and has this larger than life on screen aura. Going head to head against Hrithik, in terms of physic and presence is nearly not possible.

But one logical solution here is that NTR must be playing an antagonistic role in the film. If that is the case, then there will be no direct comparison with the heroism and physical trait angle.

NTR is a brilliant actor, and he can easily carry an antagonist role alongside any actor in the country. This would be a new experience and opens multiple avenues for him at so many levels.

But if the director goes for a balancing act and wants to project both NTR and Hrithik in the same angle, that is when things could start to go awry.

Needless to say, physical traits are natural traits and can’t be altered so any comparison on this front is uncalled for. The only logical solution here is extracting the very best of the acting skills of Tarak which are on par with absolutely any star actor in the country.

Director Ayan Mukerjee will have to play it very smart in this regard and he has an absolute winning potential on the cards.
