It’s been a week of numerous launches and announcements in the world of technology. While vivo introduced an affordable vivo T3 Lite to the Indian market, Realme, too, brought something new to the segment. Let’s take a look at what tech giants had for us this past week.

vivo T3 Lite 5G

Smartphone giant vivo launched its affordable handset vivo T3 Lite handset in India. The smartphone joins the ‘T’ line-up, which includes the T3 variant as well as the T3x. The vivo T3 Lite 5G will go on sale next month.

It will be available in two variants in India: the base 4GB + 128GB option for ₹10,499 and the 6GB + 128GB variant for ₹11,499. The phone will be available for purchase on July 4 at noon via vivo India’s official website, Flipkart, and the official retail stores. The handset has been launched in two colour options, Majestic Black and Vibrant Green.

OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite 5G

OnePlus announced its latest offering in the budget lineup — the Nord CE4 Lite 5G. It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate with a peak brightness of 2,100 nits. The smartphone also has an Aqua Touch feature that allows users to accurately control the touchscreen even when it’s wet.

It boasts a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC charging with 5W reverse charging. The makers also claim that the Nord CE4 Lite 5G will have the longest battery life in the company’s history.

realme C61

Chinese smartphone maker

realme launched C61 on June 28. The new smartphone features the UNISOC T612 octa-core processor with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage with a 5,000mAh battery. It boasts a 32MP primary lens in a dual-camera setup.

The realme C61 is available in two colour variants, Safari Green and Marble Black. The new 5G phone costs ₹7,699 for 4GB+64GB, ₹7,999 for the 4GB+128GB model, and ₹8,099 for the 6GB+128GB model. The phone is available on realme’s official website, Flipkart, and other mainline channels.

Nokia 3210

HMD Global has reintroduced the legendary Nokia 3210 in the Indian market. This iconic handset shaped a generation and is back in vibrant hues like Scuba Blue, Grunge Black, and Y2K Gold. In addition, it has also launched the Nokia 235 4G and Nokia 220 4G, packed with various multimedia features and modern conveniences.

The Nokia 3210 features a retro-inspired 1999 design complemented by a robust 1450 mAh battery, delivering up to 9.5 hours of talk time. It boasts the classic Snake game, a 2MP camera, a flash torch, and a preloaded UPI application.

Google Pixel 9 lineup

Google announced the date for its annual “Made by Google” event, which is set to take place on August 13. The event will begin at 10.30 pm and will be streamed live on YouTube. The tech giant shared the information on its X handle and wrote to showcase the Pixel devices, the best of Google AI, and Android software updates. It is expected to launch the Pixel 9, the Pixel 9 Pro, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Motorola Razr 50 series

Motorola launched the much-awaited premium Razr 50 series foldable phones in China, the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra. The Razr 50 Ultra sports a 4-inch (1272×1080 pixels) QuickView pOLED LTPO display. It features a 6.9-inch FlexView full HD+ (2640×1080p) pOLED LTPO foldable display and supports 1-165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit HDR 10+, up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision.

The Razr 50 series features a large 3.6-inch fullHD pOLED cover display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The main display is a 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED foldable screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness level of 3000 nits. The global variant of the handset is expected to launch soon.
