Agnihotri slammed the ‘costume slaves’ for helping Aishwarya on the Cannes red carpet. He tweeted along with the picture, “Have you guys heard of a term called ‘costume slaves’. Aishwarya’s Fans Come To Her Rescue

While some agreed with Vivek Agnihotri, fans of Aishwarya Rai questioned him for slamming Aishwarya. One user wrote, “Whatever she wears is her prerogative, why are you feeling frustrated? And last i remember your feelings were hurt because of a saffron bikini. While making hurt story , your heroines wore no or worse dresses than Aishwarya.”

Another wrote, “It’s only slavery if you aren’t getting paid and you aren’t free to quit. Everything else comes under employment. What happened to “no work is small” now?”

“Let it be. Nobody is going to wear these dresses in normal life. What’s your grievance? What, The Fashion Files is next?,” wrote another.

However, Vivek Agnihotri soon clarified his statement and tweeted, “My comment has nothing to do with ARB. It’s only about the weird concept of ‘costume slavery’. And ARB is not responsible for it. She is just a model/fashion ambassador.”
