The video, shared by Anirudh Gupta (@foodsafetywar), also revealed a clogged and dirty washing area at the Hyderabad branch of a famous chain restaurant. Social media users were quick to express outrage, with one calling it “unacceptable” and another saying, “Hygiene is a serious issue in restaurants.”
This is not an isolated incident. Last year, a cigarette butt was shockingly found in a plate of biryani served at a well-known restaurant. Other complaints have surfaced about foreign objects in food and unsanitary kitchen practices across the city. These instances are tarnishing Hyderabad’s reputation as a food lover’s paradise.
